Step outside, slow down, and see the world differently.

This much-loved course returns—an invitation to explore the charm of everyday streets, hidden corners, and coastal scenes through the expressive art of urban sketching. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow your confidence, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Working in pen and ink with touches of watercolour, you’ll learn how to capture atmosphere, movement, and character on location. Each session introduces practical techniques and creative exercises designed to help you loosen up, observe more deeply, and develop your own unique style.

Every week brings a new inspiring setting, carefully selected to spark ideas—so you’ll never be short of subjects to draw. Along the way, you’ll build not just skills, but confidence sketching outdoors and connecting with a small group of like-minded creatives.

What to expect:

Good to know:

• Some drawing experience is helpful

• Sessions are held outdoors (weather permitting)

• Places are limited to keep the group small and supportive

Materials:
Please bring your own sketching materials and a portable fold-up chair. A full materials list will be provided after booking, and a few spare supplies will be available to get you started if needed.
