Ideal for beginners as well as those wanting to reconnect with painting, this course introduces essential techniques including colour mixing, blending, layering, and creating depth and texture. You’ll learn how to handle oil paints with ease while experimenting freely in a supportive, encouraging environment.

This course uses water-mixable oil paints, which have all the beautiful qualities of traditional oil colour without the need for solvents. They provide a more eco-friendly, low-odour painting experience—perfect for home studios and shared spaces.

Each session balances gentle guidance with plenty of room for play, helping you develop your own style at your own pace. Whether you’re painting from observation or imagination, you’ll gain practical skills and leave with artwork you’re proud of.
